If you want to send emails from an external mailer platform that can manage email campaigns, follow the instructions here first to create an account with a mailer platform. If you want your mailer to send emails from an email address that contains your website's domain (like name@yourwebsite.com), then first follow the instructions here.
Once you've configured an account with a mailer, and (optionally) set up your domain to support an email address, continue to the steps below.
NGP VAN or EveryAction
Email from your domain
First, if you want your mailer to send messages from an email address that contains your website's domain (like name@yourwebsite.com), then navigate to the Domain Manager section in the green menu of Admin Settings. Select the domain you're using for your email address. Select the link near the center of the screen to "Add a common mailer or email provider". Select "NGP VAN" from the popup that appears, then hit "Add DNS Records" to save your progress. Once the page finishes loading, you should see new entries in the "DNS Records" section of the page - with columns "Name", "Type", "Content", and "TTL". This means you're ready to move on to the next step!

Finally, to sync your signups from your Winnable page to NGP or EveryAction, reach out to our team, and we'll finish the setup process!
MailChimp
Email from your domain
First, if you want your mailer to send messages from an email address that contains your website's domain (like name@yourwebsite.com), then navigate to the Domain Manager section in the green menu of Admin Settings. Select the domain you're using for your email address.
Open a new tab and login to your MailChimp account, then verify your domain.
Then follow these instructions to access values that you'll be pasting into Winnable. If MailChimp asks for your domain provider, select "Other" - since Winnable probably won't be listed as an option. In the settings for your domain in Winnable (in Domain Manager), you should select "Add a custom DNS record" near the center of the screen. In the first dropdown, select "CNAME" as the Type. Enter the Name and Value fields that are listed in MailChimp in step 7 of these instructions. Repeat this for each record listed in MailChimp.

Finally, to sync your signups from your Winnable page to MailChimp, reach out to our team, and we'll finish the setup process!
