Minimum file width
We want image files to be big enough to avoid a fuzzy appearance on large desktop screens. Depending on where an image is used on your site, we might ask for a file width between 400 and 2000 pixels. If you're not sure how many pixels (px) your image has, follow these instructions to get the pixel dimensions of your image file.
Maximum file size
We recommend that you don't upload any files bigger than 2MB to your website because this can slow down the load times - so visitors might have to wait for your website to load. This hurts your site performance, so try to compress your image file if it's more than 2MB.
The file size of your image should be listed next to the file name in your File Explorer. You can also right-click the file to see more details if you can't find this information.
